Owned and operated by Eldon Ray Miller and his wife, Denise, the company has built its reputation on quality cut stock, dependable delivery, and customer service rooted in courtesy, professionalism, and Godly values. In July 2025, Whispering Pines faced the greatest challenge in its history when a fire destroyed the entire operation. Rather than walk away, the Millers chose to rebuild from the ground up. The new facility is outfitted entirely with new Pendu equipment, giving the operation modern, efficient, and reliable production capability. Throughout the rebuild, the Millers refused to let their customers down. They purchased lumber from the WoodRing to keep orders filled and clients supplied without interruption, a commitment that speaks to the kind of business they run and the relationships they value. Today, Whispering Pines employs a team of six and produces approximately 100,000 board feet per week. Customers know they can count on prompt service, honest dealings, and consistent quality in every order.
