Rigging Information

Installed Equipment — Rigging Required, Required Rigger: Daniel Stoltzfus 717-406-9611 Rigging on this auction is required and must be performed by Bright Star Auctions' designated rigger. Buyers may not perform their own rigging and may not bring in an outside rigger. The designated rigger is a third-party contractor — not an employee, agent, or representative of Bright Star Auctions. All rigging charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are paid directly to the rigger. Rigging must be paid for and scheduled before any installed item leaves the site. Rigging prices: A PDF with rigging prices is posted in the Documents section of this auction — click Documents to view it. For anything not listed, or for a quote on a specific lot, call the office before you bid. Items requiring rigging include: Any installed equipment that cannot be removed without additional work. Equipment that must be cut, torched, unassembled, or otherwise modified for removal. Any item that is fixed, anchored, or integrated into a structure or system. Buyer responsibilities: Contact the office or review the rigging price PDF before bidding so you know your rigging cost. Pay the rigger directly and schedule your removal date with them. Do not attempt to disconnect, cut, torch, unbolt, or move any installed lot yourself. Buyers who do so may be denied load-out and remain responsible for all charges. Load-Out Terms for Items That Do Not Require Rigging Rolling stock may be loaded out without assistance. Staff will be available to help start and run equipment during the designated load-out dates. After this initial period: Buyers are fully responsible for all equipment startup and loading. Buyers must schedule an appointment for any load-out after the designated dates. Loading Requirements for Larger Non-Rigging Items: Larger items that do not require rigging but do require specialized equipment — such as cranes, wheel loaders, or other heavy lift machinery — may be subject to a loading fee. Buyers have two options for loading these items: Hire the designated rigger, schedule an appointment, and pay the quoted loading price. Provide their own appropriate equipment and complete the load-out themselves. Small & Palletized Item Load-Out: Small and palletized items qualify for free load-out during the designated free load-out timeframe. Staff will be available to assist with loader operated loading when necessary. After this timeframe ends: Minimum of $25 per lot, or other load-out charges will apply. Buyers become fully responsible for arranging their own loading. Items that can be loaded by hand must be loaded by the buyer, without staff assistance.
